Karelle Edwards: Using adversity to become a better version of yourself.

Connect and Rise with Karelle Edwards, Canadian 100 meter Hurdler who has set her eyes on the Road to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympic Games. Karelle's authenticity will inspire you as she discusses how adversity can take us to destinations we couldn't have gone otherwise. She also shares how her father's belief in her (that was stronger than her own at the time) propelled her forward to continue training and pushing herself towards her goals. Most poignantly, she explains how looking back though there are things that her current self may have done differently, she has a firm belief in the value of adversity. Her struggles prepared her for where she was going. How can you embrace adversity and use it as inspiration? Don't miss this episode!

Elisa Au: No matter how difficult the task, give it your best.

Roberto Lord took over the family business aged just 27 after his father, Joey, retired in 2005. Although Roberto has been familiar with the workings of the company from an early age, he didn’t officially join us until 2002 once he had graduated from college with a degree in Business Administration. Since his appointment as CEO, he has been a breath of fresh air, bringing a modern, dynamic approach to the family business with great success.

Jordan Nicole: Courage, dear heart; don't give up, you're not alone.

Connect and Rise with Jordan Nicole, Professional Ballet Dancer and host of the upcoming podcast Ballet to Business. Jordan shares her amazing story of dancing for the San Francisco Ballet Company starting at the age of 16, struggling with multiple injuries, and eventually deciding to have foot surgery. Find out how she found the courage to press through even when the timing wasn't what she expected and she felt as if she had lost a part of her identity. You will be moved by her grace and encouraging words and will come away knowing that no one is alone in their struggles.

Jordan Gray: Being broken down to almost nothing can result in a re-building that surpasses all expectations.

Connect and Rise with Jordan Gray, Professional Track Athlete, American World Record Holder, Decathlete, and "Grit Goddess." Her story of continual struggles and being so broken down that she was literally at rock bottom will inspire you to trust the plan and push through difficulties. Jordan shares much insight, including her father's favorite mantra for her: "Snot Bubble." Find out what that means and more. Jordan will push you to look fear in the eye and realize that though good things often start off scary, greatness is on the horizon.
